Up there with the great nights........!

That was the best value for money in years. What a night!!!!!

Vs. Shels a few years ago (4-4).....because we won.
Vs. Rovers last season (3-2).....because we won at the death.
Vs. Rovers (1-0) League Cup final......because we were up against the Champions......and make no mistake they are a really good side.

    We won because.......!
    1. We wanted the game more than Bohs. I was watching the lads in the huddle before the game - they were really pumped up.
    2. George.......he was class. His touch was sublime and he drove the Dubs mad.
    3. JO'F. His work rate was unbelievable. Although Crowe's goal was good JO'F's was an equally good striker's goal and he really did brilliantly to set up the first one.
    4. Devine's penalty save.......poor spot kick but he still needed to do the business and overall was solid. Could not be blamed for the 2 goals against us.
    5. The Cross was intimidating tonight. It was like the good old days. I was in the Main Stand and it was good to see the whole place singing as one at the end. The place looked great with all the flags, colour and noise.
    6. Greg, Dan, O'Grady - really gutsy performances.
    7. Doyler is settling in and had a really good game.

    8. Pat Dolan.......he is putting St. Pat's behind him now and the standing ovation he got from the entire place at the end must have been brilliant for one so dedicated and pasionate for the game. This Team is really doing all the right things to bond with the fans also ( definately Dolan's influence ).
Nice touch after both games at home so far to acknowledge the fans - and how long has it been since the place was still so full 10-15mins after the game was over. It was like we had won the League.

    ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

What a night! watched it from the usual spot in the st annes end and thought in the first half cronin should have been taken off. His fault for allowing ryan to cross for both goals and for not clearing the lines before peno was given. Well done to pat for spotting it early in 2nd half. Not putting gareth down but he had a poor game. And not forgetting how the rest played. Well what can we say "A night to remember" Atmosphere was top notch and city support was unbelievable. Where was TV3!!!

    What a night !
The atmosphere was electric and for sheer perseverance I think we deserved the win.

I think Greg is turning into a great midfield player, Hunt seemed to be getting on top but Greg battled well. Superb 'tackle' on Crowe to let him know he was about.

One down side last night was Billy Woods, he was pathetic.
As the fella next to me said "If they were giving out medals for hiding, they couldn't find Woods to give it to him"
We seriously need competition on the left side of midfield, i think Billy has become complacent.

George was outstanding and Murray showed great determination late on with those surging runs.

Great night, will not be easily forgotten.
