    Better news from the U17s

    Qualify for next qualifying phase with wins over Ukraine & Denmark.

    Only 2 of the starting XI play in Ireland. These lads are 16 or 17. Discuss.

    Fact. The two that play in Ireland will be playing in England this time next year.

    FACT. They can come home and take part on FAS course, play full-time in Premier League, be involved in Emerging Talent, become coaches, go back to college, finish Leaving Cert, play in National League at U20 level....

    Johnny Dunleavy of Wolves is from Donegal.My brother in law was a teacher of his for four years and sayes he a smashing lad and has a great attitude to everything he does.Conor Clifford of Chelsea is apparantly a great prospect.Good luck to these lads.
