    Wicklow mountains

Hi, myself and my girlfriend are planning a scenic trip around Ireland for the next few days. We're hoping to have a quick look at the Wicklow mountains without having to go on really expensive sightseeing tours. Can a Dublin Bus journey stretch as far as the edge of the Wicklow mountains?

Yes - the 44 to Enniskerry. Not sure how regular it is; goes from town via Dundrum as far as I know. You've got a fair few walks from there anyway, as well as Enniskerry pitch and putt, which has superb views if you're into that kind of thing.
