Have watched as much as possible, especially on Eurosport. England look quite good and their draw with Germany was a great result but Brazil are the team to beat with China and Sweden both looking to be in trouble

The number 2 for North Korea, not too sure of the name, is an amazing footballer. She can bend it like Beckham with both the right and left foot.

World Cup Final is about to begin Stephen Alkin is commentating for RTE so I switched over the muppet knows nothing about Women's football. The Republic of Ireland played Germany in Qualification for the World Cup only losing 0-1 away and 0-3 at home. It would be a great boost for football here if the Germans won it seeing how well we did against them relatively speaking . England did well in the tournament and given Arsenal are European Club Champions with seven England internationals in the side ( 2 Irish , 1 Welsh and 1 Scottish in their first XI) that should boost the profile of the game across Channel.

Germany played very well in what I saw of it. Good defending and cakm, relaxed play. The penalty was a terrible hit, a bit to the right and no power. Very impressed with the Germans going the whole tournament without conceding a goal.

Very high level of technical ability on show in the games I saw. They'd certainly rival their male counterparts.

Decent standard of football throughout the tournament except for one area - goalkeeping.

    Anneke Krahn ... super centreback.

Thats the German Number 2 Keeper!!! The number one is better and was out injured for the World Cup

Irish keeper Emma Byrne has to be in the top 3 in the World right now. When Ireland played Germany away in the qualifiers she was unbelievable- German TV (game live and watched by over 1million viewers) interviewed her after the game!!
