Right here we go, i just rang the club & there is definitely no bus going up.
So we are left with making our own way.
Just checked irishrail.ie & got the following times.
Dublin - Belfast :leave 9.35 arr at 11.40 , leave 11.00 arr at 13.05, leave 13.20 arr at 15.25. Kick off is 4pm (i think) so the 11 o clock one will be the best in my opinion.
Belfast - Dublin : leave 18.10 arr at 20.15, leave 20.10 arr at 22.15/ The 18.10 would be the best but might be a struggle to make if the match finishes at 17.45ish......
The day return is £21 quid.
I think we should go for the 11.00 train on saturday morning returning that night, All in favour post below as i dont fancy travelling alone.
glens fan and David Kennedy have been very helpful on the Pats forum regarding the match on Saturday, with hints on how to get to the Oval by train/car and advised us on what pitfalls to avoid, generally the advice is just to be sensible and we should have no worries. So I hope those foolhardy enough (on our side) to even consider bringing the tricolour or sing sectarian songs etc, will be told in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS not to do so.Looking forward to a good day out and a good match.
