i honestly think that if we went in 0-0 at half time it wouldnt have been 4-0
its true rovers were camped down in utds 18 yard area - but didnt look like scoring with all the crosses and corners free kicks etc. they had for most of the first half
it was when regi went off that things looked shaky - but even at that - frustration would have mounted for rovers - not being able to convert
for their first goal what a crushing blow for us - but all being said a front post header flicked on, was allowed to bounce and come down and then hit on the volley
4 united players paused to watch and marvel at this phenomenon
utd gave it a go for 15mins in the second half - until rovers took their second - this is what has me thinking that they could have played a lot better but just dropped the heads - way to easily
murphy did cut a nice ball across the box - but noone thought it was worth running into the area to tap in
long ball the call of the day again
wes not a wing back - the last 2 goals came through him - with central defenders coming to the wings, to cover - leaving big holes for the midfield and rovers forwards to walk through
derek glynn does not offer much if all you can do is play a ball for him to run onto to take a defender on at pace - he needs more to his game
i know the long ball is no good to him - but he doesnt seem to be working too hard either - oflynn and faherty were annonymous - again
no one taking control or looking for it in midfield
a big confidence killer this one id say
