Heard him on last sunday. Was too funny to be true.
He immeadiately went into defensive mode before a question was asked. It was obvious he worked for RTE. When Sam Smyth (presenter) tried a few jokes poor aul Tim couldn't even lighten up for them....
His last comment was to say RTE were to show the Celtic-Ajax "UEFA CUP" gamesobviously a slip of the toungue but still woeful!
He must have repeated the fact RTE had the WC rights when ITV, BBC & Sky didn't. Course he neglected to mention they are obviously waiting to see if England qualify as they not going to pay top dollar if they don't...
Both RTE-man & the presenter basically ignored any comments read out about irish footie
