My thoughts exactly. Im also of the opinion that these pointles fines by the FAI (ie. Throwing of paper €500 or flares €100 or next fine up "fans chanting at games €3000) could be put to better use than, sending Delaney and co. off on their hols around the globe.Originally Posted by Davie76

EVERY single public place should have these. My best mate (cousin) passed away 2 and a half years ago and a defib could have well have saved his life. We decided to hold a charity auction night to raise funds and purchase some and donate them to local sports clubs, charity groups, community centres etc... We got a call last week saying that one of the defibs we donated had saved a life.

Our GAA club got 2 of these machines, they had some deal where they cost €1200 from Croke Park.
