Where are all the knockers now?

lads year on year as arams supporter we have had to put up with why are you watching the rams / there is no-not enough cobh players int he team/ they play bad-boring footie

well lads this season we are on an 25 game run top of the league and we playing good footie with cobh players

and still no crowds there is 15000 people on this island and we cant get more than 5% of them to come to games WHY?
was talking to aguy from youghal who travelled up to see the game as he heard about us and is sick of city, he travels from youghal and we cant get people from top of the hill to walk 500 yards t the ground

i am sick of the begrudgers and sick of cobh people who have no loyalty, like to see you doing bad hate to see you doing well

Interesting point that we had 650 at todays game well done to everyone for attending.

Good point Ramsfan..cant understand it either..they just wont support us..maybe if Marco went to the local schools and come up with some deal for parent/child it might work.every second person yesterday was from outside Cobh

Good post and right on the money....i always get the feeling that when we go top, we get the extra people out for the big game so that if we get beaten, they are happy quoting "thats why i dont come up here" and we dont see them again for months. We need to change a whole generation of Cobh Peoples mindset.
Come on out....We need supporters not be-grudgers, lets all try and get 2 more people each to go to the next game and if we suceed then we will have a crowd of 1800 instead of 600

Lads, similar problems all over - I'm a Longford Town fan and we are averaging less than 600 a game, with only about 350 from the town, population around 10k - we've had successes but that doesen't get loyalty from fans, just a greater level of expectation - our biggest problem is the same one as everywhere else, loyalty to British clubs.

5% isnt a bad figure for a weekly attendance. in dublin, that'd be a club getting 80,000 every week, in Cork it'd be 10,000. face it lads, 600-800 is fine for a club of your size.

We should be hittin g the 1000 mark i think. Our style of football, and achievements this season deserves it i think.

and i wouldnt begrudge ye it, and if i was to make a hypothetical prediction, i'd say if ye had a stand fit for human occupation at the moment, you'd be getting it.

Good point...hopefully when we get promotion the stand will be finished and next season we should have big gates..the opposition should attract big crowds anyway...

yes but when this stand is complete, we should know by the end of the season, hopefully, if we got the funding for the north stand

Je*us lets get this one finished first...hopefully we will get promoted and get bigger crowds next season...if we start building another one where are we going to put the crowds whilst this is been built...
