Foot.ie Reader

I've been testing a feed aggregator on Foot.ie for a couple weeks now, and I'd like ye to have a go. There's over 1500 news items in there now, so it should be easy to guage usability. If ye like it, I'll skin it with the Foot.ie theme and I'll take the feeds out of the forums; and of course I'll add an aggregated feed to the front page. Let me know.

Thanks lads. It's a feed reader sligoman, like the feeds forum; which I want to get rid of. I don't know how you can't get this just by looking at it.

It's alright Adam, I like foot.ie for it's straightforwardness though. If I want a football forum I come here, if I want news I go elsewhere etc.

Is there a danger you can touch up the site a little too much? The football feeds section is hardly used and this seems just like another variation of it?

I don't think so dfa, the reader is completely separate from the forum so people don't really have to go there if they don't want to. The only points of entry will be from the homepage and th tabbar above. On the feeds section, I haven't checked stats but the last time we discussed it a few people claimed to like it. However I don't like having it on the forums, it bugs people that it appears in New Posts and it inflates our post counts to a dishonest level. Look at my post count ffs!
