For soccer, I think it's the right size. Particularly if, in the future, the GAA would allow us to use Croker for the odd game such as Germany/England/France etc...
It's probably too small for rugby though. The biannual home fixtures against France and England will always draw a potential crowd of 80000+. Also, any autumn tests against the southern hemisphere sides would probably attract a similar demand.
