Just got a warning or yellow card for a post. Not disputing it, it was fair enough. But just wondering how does this system work? Is it one more and i get temporary ban or what? Couldnt find anywhere on the forum that explains the system....

If you get three points, you get suspended for a week. The system itself goes around and around. All warnings are aggregated in the mod forum, so generally after three warnings people are constantly under threat of us having enough of them and tossing them out permanently.
only two more to go so! So do I tread lightly not wanting to get a red or should i treat it like an ASBO?

I take that in jest, but in reality I'll be treating people that use it in that manner with the same disdain I reserve for ASBO's themselves.

Similarly, we don't rely on the point system for posters that are obviously here to troll. People have been tossed out on their ear without any warnings or infractions.

What's to explain sligoman? If you break the rules you get a warning, if you break the rules again you get suspended, if you come back and break the rules again you get binned. It's not rocket science for anyone with a brain in their head, and frankly we can do without the ones that don't have aforementioned brains.
