Probably because of the Harps stewards inadequacy in preventing the pitch invasion!

Seriously though, i always thought the home team got fined in the case of pitch invasions.....no?

No, we got fined in Sligo because a couple of our lads hopped a wall we also got fined for unruly behaviour, whatever that is.
I heard the club has been warned about any chants that refer to Sligo as scum, the FAI consider this to be racist. I always knew Sligo were a different race!

Unruly behaviour is when one of yer 'fans' who hopped the wall bumped into the linesman. He feared for his life I heard.

Till rolls! Leathal weapons if you hit a lad with them! But surely they have less impact on the environment than confetti (oh the hours that were passed on the way to games ripping up old posters!) and save the ground staff alot of hassle cleaning up after the game.

Think the bloke who went over the wall (he actually fell over) got more of a fright than the linesman!

It's funny how it's only Galway fans who seem to ever "fall" over our wall. I think ye used that excuse with the guy in the Oliver Davey incident a few years back too. The supporters trust should arrange a few lessons on how to stand at a wall without falling over it, it'll save ye some fines.
