Any comments I make or have made regarding this petty situation are my own views and no-one is obliged to agree with them. Sad fact is though that comments like your pervious one usually put people off responding to a serious thread. If you have something to say regarding the thread topic then just say it rather than feeing the urge to have a jibe at another supporter. Stick to the topic and keep the personal ****e out of it.
****e is reserved for those who think about it a lot and if you can't contain yourself then theres always the jacks................ta ta!

    are u having a laugh????

supporters do not keep this club running... full stop!!!! its sponsership and the bar..

lets assume thats theres 200 people that are season tkt holders.. if we average a crowd of 600... it maybe more but i think not by alot.. thats 400 paying customers......... lets say 50 of these are kids.....(free entry) and 100 are students thats 100 at a 10 euro (if im right havent seen price as im a season tkt holder im basing it on away games), thats a 1000 euro, and then we have the match sponser which i guess get 20 tkts too the game and im guessing that players prob get their families in free(????? guess) so ill say thats another 30 people in... so that leaves 200 adults paying full price so 200x15 3000 euro..... and thats every 2 weeks.... if we have 2 weeks on the road thats 4000 euro to pay a wage bill of 2000 every week...

now this is not includeing poperating cost which incluse paying electricty tax or any other fees,

my point being is that we have a very good business man running the bar but for what??? throwing it up in the air should we appoint a committee member to run the bar? no politcal agenda here but if we set aside a position on the committee (payed of course, but not as much as now) to run the bar would it be better...

on the sponseship side i cannot fault the committee they have brought goodyear an some other new faces on board.....

last time i remember the boyzine song was "when the tough gets going the going get tough" not wen the tough get going the lads jump!

but the revenue is up since we hired the bar manager, from the last meeting i was at anyway, well see at the end of this year,
as for matches im quiet sure season tickets holder and freebies arent given in the attendances, 100 season ticket holder by the way, attendance is judged by the amount of tickets sold outside the ground for entry not the clock on the turnstiles, i am guessing this is the way, id say marco would have to verify this, ive heard attenddances of 900 when there is blatantly over 1000 at the game, i think anyway, any one else think the same, think dundalk and shels,
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

Good luck and enjoy. I can't be bothered. Some people just don't get it. I'm back to the other forum, where at least it does it's bit to advertise, support and promote the Ramblers in a positive way.

Which leads me to my next point, certain people raise eyebrows and pass snarly comments when new people come to support the club, like i know one or two people who were chattin in bar after and were told your only here cause were winning, or cause your friend signed, your not a real supporter lark.
The above quote was made here the other day, and you know what, I totally agree with it because I've experienced it first hand. With attitudes like these then we're in trouble. I've done my bit. Bought family ticket. Offered advise and design in my field. Was taking out a billboard (even though was told that I'd have to go up and measure it up myself) and looking at possible match sponsorship........and have calculated that in the past four weeks I've put approx 600euro over the bar.........but hey......why should I bother at all!! I've a business to run, allbeit small, but at least I enjoy it which is more than I can say for some of the ****e posted here since the 'Ramblers3' resignations rubbish. At least I can take pride in the fact that I tried to contribute something positive toward the club as a whole!!

It would be a good idea to read before posting. However that is optional I suppose

"Of course supporters play a big part in that club income as without this the club would fold...."

Supporters PLAY a BIG PART in keeping the club running.
    ie
    Supporters match day entrance fees
    Supporters sponsoring signs, players etc
Supporters purchasing half time prize draw tickets
    Supporters purchasing 4 number tickets
    Supporters purchasing 800 draw tickets
Supporters purchasing Grand prize draw tickets
Supporters money over the bar after a game
I could go on and on........

Ye'd want to relax a small bit lads. Everybody is getting a little too carried away over nothing really and i'd expect better out of teenagers, never mind adults.

PM each other if you want to bitch to anyone and keep the thread on topic about committee issues.
    Top Breeders recommend drinkfeckarse....
