Just back from the launch in town there. Not a bad game, although the players look nothing like real life, and nor do most of the grounds. Also, on my third game of it, I realised all I had to do was keep passing the ball around the whole time, and so got a 0-0 draw as UCD with Slavia Prague.
Give me classic Sensible Soccer any day!
It was on TV3 there. They'd Shane Robinson next to a FIFA cut-out of him and they looked identical but Kearney looked fat and had hair.
Jayz, I sound like an eL groupie there.
I can't wait for the game.
Friday, yes?
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"
G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
did ye get free copies of the game those who went?
No we didn't. Would defeat the purpose!
Can you change the buttons i cant seem to figure it out , game looks good apart from that
brutal guff for the ps2.
will be traded
PC version is buggy to say the least.
Can't enter any of the online modes as it crashes straight back to the Desktop
It also randomly crashes at points in the game - had to start 4 seperate League Competitions due to it crashing.
Will be taking it back tomorrow for refund, spending that cash on beer or something else useful and waiting for them to sort the damn thing out
I mean - my PC cost me £650 for the base unit on it's own - it's one of the top range models kit wise
MAD
Kom Igen, FCK...
you need to download seperate files to play online, read the readme
Its says so in the game when you click on online.
Its not a bad game fact i can play as players nearly look like pats players makes it playable but its too easy.
Hint go 4 3 3 and you should beat anyone with some simple passes.
OT i seriously doubt you got a top pc for 650 one of my graphics cards cost that alone, hasnt crashed on me and Alt tabbing works perfectly as the game is still running as i post this.

Had a go at the FIFA 08 demo and the PES 2008 demo last night. Wasn't overly impressed with the FIFA game, thought it felt more stilted that the PES game, although the presentation (menus, etc) were far more polished and accessible than PES.
The mini game of Ronaldinho doing tricks was a nice addition, but I reckon you could get tired of it easily
Is the pro evo demo on playstation network yet ?
I have the full fifa game on Ps3 impressive but i just cant get into it looks great still plays like fifa though , Cant change the buttons cant use the d pad it will be going back next week trade in before the price drops when pro evo comes out .
Absolutely shocking game. Senseless player ratings, only top top players look anyway realistic.
National team selections are comedy, I mean when was the last time Hartson played for Wales?
Steven Reid looks like a white guy with a massive mustache
Aiden McGeady and Robbie are highest rated players at 83, Dunne not even at 80.
Every long range shot stays down and is on target but goalkeeper gobbles them up. Pass up the flanks into the box and you can score EVERY time.
You can score 4 times in stoppage time.
Pro evolution 4 is far better, let alone 5 and 6.
Only redeeming factor is goalie can come up for a corner.
"No regrets, none at all. My only regret is that we went out on penalties. That's my only regret. But no, no regrets." -Mick McCarthy
