Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
honest answer the hatred, i dont like that word, the dislike, i know the grammar is not the best, but it comes from a number of sources, 1) your manager.... i always got on ok wit the man but by god a lot... and i mean a lot of people really do not like him, 2) the clubs " perceived" arrogance, every pike man you spoke 2 last season gave it the billy big ******, yet the boro won the league and cup double, yet any pike man will ask who won the munster junior cup??? ill ask who beat who 3 times!! then ill ask where is the underage structure, admittedly i dont know enought about this area but what i will say is when i was a young fella pike had a " dream team" poached by pa mullally at 15 and 16 level and nothing else, and to this day it appears the same
Aisling 2 2 Regional AA on pens
Balla 2 1 Kilmallock
Pike 3 0 Portmarnock
Moyville 2 1 Star Aet
Aishling 1 - 3 Regional
Balla 1 - 2 Kilmallock
Pike 1 - 3 Portmarnock
Moyville 0 - 2 Star
Heard Balla are missing 6/7 of the first team, Robert Brock, Jamie O' Sullivan, Earls & Spud (obviously suspended) Frank lee, Gareth Ryan and Paudie Hickey, all injured except Gareth Ryan as his missus due a baby. Balla could struggle if this is correct. I think Star could shock everyone and get the result. Regional to strong for AA, and Pike carrying to many players to beat Portmarnock (ie) mitchell and finucane. Only my opinion..But best of luck to all Limk teams.
Aisling 3-2 Regional
Balla 2-0 Kilmallock
Pike 1-1 Portmarnock Port on Pens
Dont know enough about Moyville to predict but best of luck to Star
Aisling - Regional should be a good game. Regional beat them already this
season i think 2-1 so prob favourites but i think aisling are good cup team.
Balla should beat kilmallock simple as, especially @ home..
Pike - Portmarnock hard to call in fairness.. Pens
West Utd 3-2 Howth Celtic
West came from 2 down with 15 to go.
Lucky I saw what you wrote Green Hoop before you delated it, that portmarnock were not as good as everyone on the site said........ So, 8 people made predictions on the game and 7 went for Pikenot as good as you thought, yet they took ye to pens away from home. What a t i t you are.
Evergreen FC 2-0 Liffey Celtic
willow park 2-3 clonmel town
interkenmare 0-6 st michaels
carrick 3-1 cahir park
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
manor rangers 5-1 mervue united.
mervue must be gone to s**t are they??
moville 6 1 star...star were 1-0 up at half time!!
Kinsale richmond and ourselves through.bally boys out of the mjc, bugger
Their's only one Dinny Pop's.
Theres a difference,I didn't say Portmarnock were good...The 2 AUL games I saw this season have really dipped my impression of the Leinster League,IF you'd bothered to attend the game you'd know So STFU cheers..not saying Pike are/were anygood, there playing Average stuff at best.
Newtown 3 - 1 Aileach
Aileach wet one up against the run of play. 1-1 at half time and Newtown ran out comfortable winners in the end. Great game from Paul "Bunny" Carr his fitness and form is improving every week.
you are only a loser when you stop trying. Playing sport does not build character, it reveals it.
[QUOTE=Green_Hoop;839827]Theres a difference,I didn't say Portmarnock were good...
So, Pike are very good and Portmarnock are not yet it took 110 mins and pens to get through..
I just quoted myself there for you...I honestly don't believe there to many good teams about..Wesport(although I haven't seen them play in a year),Ballymun,Carrick to name a few.
And to back that and prove my point moreso,Carew who took Pike also to Peno's the week before last got hockey'ed 6-1 by Wembley on Sunday, its simply all on the day.
Just a quick one to say all the best to Pike in the remainder of the Competition. Not a great game yesterday and both teams can play better I am sure. Penalties are always a lottery but we've had our share of luck with them over the years so no complaints - Lady Luck didnt smile on us this time.
The Pike players and club men and women are a very decent bunch of real football people and were gracious in victory as well as laying on a great spread afterwards so thanks Lads for the hospitality and hopefully we can return the compliment up in Dublin some day. Chatting to your lads after, I was amazed that you haven't won the cup in your long history, we'll be keeping an eye on your scores for the rest of the competition so Good Luck.
