I just want to make my reply to your comments.
1.Just to the left of to where Longford were attacking in the second half, there were a bunch of 30 people. There were a few singing I admit. But as soon as I started, nobody would join with me. I dont appreciate being made a fool and I reckon the reason for that is I am a Section O fanatic.
2.A certain young town fan was giving me stick before the game about never joining them at the home games. Well there is a good reason for that. Section O is our corner, we enjoy being there. We do not like being in the stand because people keep throwing us dirty looks and some of the language we sing would not be appropriate for the stand. As for starting this debate in the first place, it was NOT us who started this slagging in the first place.
3.At other clubs, fans of some singing supporters do not go in the stand. At Cork ye have the corner boys, Bohs have their own choir opposite the main stand.
4.I might have been over the top with a few coments. But I say how I feel and I was trying to give an accurate report from my end of things.
5.At the Mervue game, a few supporters were laughing at a few Section O supporters trying to get an atmosphere going so no you wont see us in the stand at flansiro ever again.
6.What difference does it make where you sit? I am sure there is a few of ye in the stand that have enough voices to get the stand going. I have no problem with that so long as we get behind the team.
7.The only reason we sing "Can ye hear the stand sing?" is to encourage to sing, that is all.
That is all I have to say on the matter.
