If you check the Football Trivia post in this forum (around page 9), all the players are listed. You can add in Ronnie O'Brien (Juventus and Grasshoppers Zurich) and Niall Quinn (almost moved to Sporting Lisbon, but it fell through)

Doh, you have Ronnie O'Brien already - didn't see that...

The others we came up with were -
    Mick McCarthy - Lyon
Liam Brady - Juventus, Inter, Sampdoria, Ascoli
Tony Cascarino - Marseille, Nancy, Red Star Paris
    Don Givens - Neuchatel Xamax
    Phil Babb - Sporting Lisbon
    John O'Shea - Royal Antwerp
    Dave Connolly - Excelsior, Feyernoord
    Mickey Walsh - FC Porto
    Noel Campbell - Fortuna Köln.
    Gary Waddock - Charleroi

Shame on the Cork Ciry fans for missing Pat Morley for Sunshine St George in Australia and Anthony Buckley with some yankee team or are you only counting internationals?
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

Martin Sheehan, who played so successfully for Cork Hibs, played for a while in S. Africa.
    Does that count?

These are the Irish players outside these islands that I am aware of. Kohlmann is said to be a good prospect. Many Irish players have spent time playing in the U.S., including Seán Finn of U.C.D.

    BELGIUM

Graham Stack (G) (KSK Beveren) ON LOAN

    CYPRUS

James Panayi (D) (Apollon Limassol) [mother from Co. Tipperary]

    GERMANY

    Jason Byrne (M) (VFL Kirchheim)
Patrick Kohlmann (D) (Borussia Dortmund) [Irish grandparents]

    NETHERLANDS

    Tony Emmelkamp (G) (FC Utrecht)

    UNITED STATES

Paul Conway (F) (Charleston Battery) [son of Jimmy Conway]
    Séamus Donnelly (F) (Charleston Battery)
    Ronnie O’Brien (F) (Dallas Burn)
    Terry Phelan (D) (Charleston Battery)

    Doh, forgot about him!

There's an underage goalkeeper, van Zanten or something like that, in Holland as well.
