U-21 squad for upcoming qualifiers

No Stokes, Conor Sammon of UCD brought in to replace him. Seems to be similar to the last squad, with Keith Tracey returning in place of John-Paul Kely.

Good news in that the game against Portugal will be live on Sky on Friday with a time TBA, according to the Sky schedule.

I dont think we could have picked a tougher group.That England squad looks strong.Pity McShane, Ireland,Long, Keogh, Joey O Brien, Gibson,Stokes and McGeady(underage?) couldnt turn out for us in these two big games.

Tells me all i need to konw really, was that because he was with a EL team or what, or i suppose he just wasnt good enough then, but two weeks later when he signs with reading he automatically good enough?

I think he means Colin Doyle
Kevin was usually up front with Daryl Murphy as I recall
