Limerick 37 FC Sports Table Quiz
Time: Wednesday 29th August, 8:30
Venue: Foley's Bar

Price: �40 per team of four

Just so reiterate we are taking bookings online at advertising@limerick37fc.ie, if you do not book we cannot absolutely guarentee a table. People are free to turn up on the night but we have to give preference to those booking tables. You have been warned!!!

The only surprise there is that you admit that the club can't guarantee something.

Can you guarantee that this is going to take place this time, and no emergency meetings of the club aren't going to be called?

Don't mean to be picky, but I had to pay a babysitter the last night, and dragged three mates of mine in from down the county and ended up getting the hole slagged off me all night by them over the shambles of a night.

I understand your frustration in that regard, if you would like to book your table email us and we will ensure a table is reserved for you

I sent a team to that e-mail address a few days ago. I got no reply. Is my team booked or whats the story? Should be a great night.

Yes but as anyone knows, texting someone on Monaghan during a quiz is only gonna be counter productive!
Iv seen your quiz answering abilities!

Wont mention the names of those who spent the night acually talking to people on their phones and who still finished near the bottom. Mortified!

You all of course realise that since myself, slk and possibly jebus weren't there it doesn't actually count as a real quiz and the winners are but phony champions??

Not sure who was in the winning team, but myself, Monkfish, Needtoknow and John D finished second, 4 points behind. Ger Finnin decided to relegate us to third position though because we answered some of his tougher questions correctly, and it happened to be Michael O'Sullivan's team that he promoted to second so definately something sinister went on there

Good night though!

Think the prize was �200 + 4 away jerseys. Hardest questions were the anorak questions about the official weight of the football and dimensions of the pitch/goalposts/corner flags etc...
