Massive overreaction, especially considering they're playing tomorrow, not today so they're not really in it.
I'm almost certain it was towards the start of the 1985/86 season when Ron Atkinson was in charge.

When was the last time, anyone know?
Bet the title seems a mile away.

It's not an overreaction, if they don't beat Spurs tomorrow they could be seriously in trouble as far as regaining their title is concerned. A draw would mean a 7 point gap to Chelsea already, and that's hardly an unfeasible result.
I'm not suggesting they will finish in the relegation zone, that would just be stupid, but their chances of winning the title will not look good if they don't beat Spurs.

I think the media are overhyping things here. There's only three games and as much as I detest Man U and Alex Ferguson, I genuinely doubt they will finish outside the top 4.
They're 1-0 up now as it is.

Game over - 1-0 United.
Safe from relegation now I feel.
