i suppose one thing that they have on him is that he was a spectator and he went onto the touchline, into the technical area.....
did he encroach the pitch?

Sligo under-21's unable to field a team against Harps yesterday - I'd say that's another fine on the way.
we couldnt against letterkenny either, did we get fined then?
this is embarrassing
Under 21's have been disbanded as far as I know.

what is going on that we cant field a team, surely there must be loads of lads locally who would want jump at the opportunity to play,
just wondering whats the story with john bellew?
played his first game with quayside rovers on sunday...got sent off too...obviously woint be playing for rovers this season...
they won 6-0 on sunday against monaghan!
manson got 1, don't know about the rest. hughes came off the bench with mckenzie aswell, think they must still be registered for games, just depends on the day if they get 11 or not!
i heard if the club did not fulfil this fixture it would have been thrown out of u 21 league and that would result in serious consequences for the first team and a possible points deduction from the fai licencing commitee.
i think a lot of the u 21s are gone back playing junior soccer and playing gaelic.
a lot of senior players will have to play reserve games between now and season end
U-21's beat Gavin Dykes, Castlebar Celtic 4-1 today. Goals from Curran, Hargadon[penalty], Melly and McKenzie. Jamie played the whole 90mins, despite playing 90 last night too. Curran was replaced by Raf at half time. Raf done all the work for Melly's goal, he tapped it in. McKenzie's goal was from an indirect free-kick. Arcaba made one really good save to stop them from making it 4-2. Castlebar's goal came from a penalty.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Sligo Rovers U-21 side picked up their third win of the season with a clinical 4-1 win against Castlebar Celtic in the Showgrounds yesterday afternoon. What was most impressive about the win was that Rovers played the majority of the game with only ten men after Levi Tierney had been sent off in the 18th minute. Despite their numerical advantage Castlebar never established any sort of foothold in the game much to the disappointment of their manager former Rovers star Gavin Dykes.
Rovers started well taking the lead in the 6th minute. Good work by Ross McLoughlin on the right saw the ball played into the feet of Mikey Creane who squared it for Gary Curran who side-footed into the empty net. Rovers were then reduced to ten in the 18th minute when Tierney received a straight red after a heavy challenge on Stephen Ryan. Castlebar equalised from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute. John Maughan who brought down by McLoughlin with Shane Hynes blasting home the resulting spot kick. Rovers though went in leading at the break as in the 41st minute Ryan Menzies was fouled by Simon Kelly and Rovers were awarded a penalty of their own. Gary Hargadon took it confidently sending it straight down the middle.
Six minutes into the second half and Rovers had doubled their lead. Rafael Cretaro broke from midfield using his pace to get past two defenders before working his way into the box where he pulled the ball back for Creane who coolly slotted home. The second half belonged to Rovers with Cretaro at the heart of all their best moves. He set up chances for Creane and Ryan Menzies and went close himself in the 86th minute when he had a well struck shot from the left touched onto the outside of the post by Castlebar keeper Joshua Tierney. On the stroke of full time Rovers scored their fourth as Cretaro took an in-direct free kick rolling it for Jamie McKenzie who drilled the ball low inside the post.
Sligo Rovers: Tomislav Arcaba, Ryan Menzies, Michael Flannery, Jamie McKenzie, James Meredith, Levi Tierney, Ross McLoughlin, Gary Curran (Rafael Cretaro 45), Mikey Creane, Gary Hargadon, Gary Melly.
Castlebar Celtic: Joshua Tierney, Niall Walsh, Gerard O'Boyle, Simon Kelly, James Minogue, Patrick Fitzgerald, John Maughan, Sean McHale (Niall O'Hara 60), Stephen Ryan (Peter Dravins 24), Gerard Burke (Shane Smyth 82), Shane Hynes.
