In a bog standard 4 4 2 he probably has? Goalie, All the way across the back, CM, up front, the only doubts for me are left and right mid, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's played there too.

I've said it before, if Stan gets sent off again as Ireland manager we should bring johno off and stick him in the technical area in his place. He's that versatile.
He's deadly in pro evo too.
    The dude abides....

Whats hilarious about it? He's played in goal, all across the back four, played both CM position in a midfield 4 and all across a midfield 3, i dont know too many players who've done that

    He's a hero

I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

The same way that old guy in your local who can drink 12 whiskeys an hour and not fall over is a hero

The word legend is thrown about all to easily these days. Pele, Cruyff, Best. They are legends. O'Shea - isn't!

Yeah! A team of any of those would destroy a team of O'Sheas. Actually a team of Gary Breens would do it if O'Shea was in an Ireland shirt.
This is the cooooooooooooolest footy forum I've ever seen!

look up definition of legend and i think it applys..... he's a legend for playing every position...doesnt mean he's a world-class player like the ones named!!

If you want me to be pedantic, the word legend actually refers to the likes of excalibur...

But come on, he's an average footballer in the english premier league. Paul Marney has played nearly every position for us but we don't go around saying he's a legend ffs!!

I'd expect the likes of you to know more about this Gaelic nonsense than me, but they were actually the same legend.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

In McShane's absence does anyone agree that Dunne & O'Shea should start the game together in Aarhus?

In the absence of any other centre half call ups, yes. The obvious next question is what full backs to play and on which side?

I see he has recently been rewarded by Man U with a 3 year extension to his contract. Obviously Fergie sees something we don't see that often when he puts on the green jersey. Perhaps the fact that he's surrounded by top quality players at Old T masks some of his obvious deficiencies such as distribution and commitment to the tackle.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
