Celtic have left a lot of fans down, the likes of Shaktar really should be dispatched!

If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
If I know F.A. about SPL it would be a lot more than you know about the EL. FYI the SPL is beamed live every weekend over here and I can make up my mind as to the standard and it IS on a level with here. And pal it's not based on 5 years ago.Originally Posted by davros

Yeah there are Rovers fans who follow celtic as I'm sure there are Pats fans who do. So what?

As a Celtic fan, I don't think they let me downOriginally Posted by ccfcman
I wasn't expecting much out there anyway, hopefull yes, but not expectant. I fully expect Celtic to beat them at home as per my argument earlier about raising their game, espeically at home.
The fact that Shaktar are bankrolled by a billionaire and spent £50m this year alone tells me that Celtic have not let the fans down even if the second half was very disappointing.
Unfortunately Celtic's strongest 11 is not strong enough at present to compete in the CL. When we lose 3 or 4 of these players and replace them with untried teenagers then we really are in trouble. I am not dillusional and can see this, however each time we go out to play I am optimistic that we can get something out of the game.
However, I am a realist. We play in a poor domestic league, which attracts poor levels of revenue from media and ensures we have great difficulty in attracting top class players to our club. This argument has been stated time and time again, but for the record playing Livingston or Dunfermline on the Saturday is not the ideal preparation for a Weds night game in the San Siro versus Milan.
I suppose if nothing else it gives some of the sad EL fans who frequent this site an opportunity to gloat.
Personally I hope Celtic and all EL sides can continue to progress in european competition - but unfortunately it just seems to be to uneven a playing field for that to happen.
I thought you were off the drink Ronnie?
"No, I drink to help me mind my own business....can I get you one? (c) Ronnie Drew
of course a negative post must be here so i think they are $hite![]()
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
I like Celtic alot, but lets be honest here, last night they were a shambles and this season is one too many for this set of players in the CL
I think everyone knows my view on Sell-Thick !!![]()
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
C'mon the hoops!!
People ... stop making excuses FFS
Sell-Thick are being found out for what they really are !! I know that it ain't great now that the game is up and people are now getting a chance to smell the coffee and see them fpr what they really are.
In fairness ... you have to expect to land with a bump as you've been trying to fly this "oh we're such a great club, we've got more luck than a lucky bag" cráp all along. Come down out of the clouds before you hurt yourselves and realise that SPL is the league you play in.
But in fairness i suppose you'd have to blame some of the people who have been taken in with all this shíte aswell.
