I have no problem with booing players, hell we've all done it at some point. However, what I object to is why he was booed. It is sheer bigotry. Basically the fools were booing him because he used to play for a football club that is based in a foreign country, it's ridiculous.
I felt embarrassed when Niall Quinn was trying to explain why they were jeering Flo on Sky Sports last night, these idiots portray Irish people as being thick ignorant idiots. Remember last year when they were booing the wrong fella, these Oirish Celtic fans know hate Rangers so much that they couldnt even tell the difference between the Rangers player and another player, shows how little they really know. Celtic are Scottish and have nothing to do with the Irish national team, some people seem a bit confused though!
