I see on the list of fixtures that the cup final is not going to be the last game of the season. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned but shouldn't the cup final be the last game, the grand finale, or does the weather come into question? Pity imo.

In fairness I'd be inclined to agree, Derry fell apart after the Fianl last year and it was'nt pretty.

AFAIK it will be the last game of the season, from next season... Technically this is still a transition season - next season will be March to October, rather than this one's April to November....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Even this season there'll only be maybe 3 or 4 weeks left in the season after the cup final.
Its a simple choice really - cup final on October Bank Holiday weekend or last week of November in depths of winter.
