Cracking 5 minutes it was too. Delighted to see our manager urging players on rather than settling for draw when down to 10.

Someone was telling me on way out of ground that Buttimer was suspended a while ago for doing the same thing he done last night, booking someone twice and not sending them off
Pats have one of the biggest wage bills ever in the league, and yet you all 'knew' you wouldn't win the league, and you all 'know' you won't win a cup. Must be very exciting being a Pats fan. What do Pats fans who back horses do? Walk straight up to the counter, hand in the money and forget about the actual bet as you 'know' it won't win?one step closer to cup final heart break

We don't even have the biggest this year (the biggest will win the league BTW). Look for the predictions thread at the start of this year. Pats fans were the only fans tipping us for top 3. Everyone else had us in lower mid table, yet all of a sudden we're being painted as failures for being third in the league
And the cup thing is tongue in cheek. Everyone knows our record

Its all a bit rich when Brian Kerr had a dig at the league while he was manager of Ireland over the amount of money paid to players.
I know some ref done that with us against Shels in the cup replay at Tolka Park a few years back. Gareth Gorman got 2 yellows yet played the whole match[extra time included]. Can't remember if it was Buttimer or not though.
