Indeed, McCarthy could play for us against Wales (having already done so vs Brazil) and switch to Scotland the next day. No doubt touching down at SFA HQ astride his flying pig.
I know a Boner. We were walking down the street one day when, with a deft move to the right, he expertly foiled a rapidly advancing Romanian who was looking to score. The subsequent leap and air punching was a bit unnecessary though, and we told him so.
James scores his first goal of the season vs Blackburn.
he is quallers...but lets see trapattoni shove him out on the wing to allow the class footballers that are keef andrews glenn whelan and paul green in the middle
Makes a mockery of Trappatonni's decision not to include him in the original squad. McCarthy, Coleman (having another good game today for Everton) and Clark as well as being very good players with pace (something we sadly lack) can all score goals.
He's just got his third first goal of the season
From the BBC site. Will be looking forward to seeing this goal later.
James McCarthy has doubled his tally for the afternoon with a sublime piece of skill and finish. N'Zogbia rolled the ball into McCarthy who flicked the ball over the defender with his right foot before volleying in with his left from eight yards. Lovely stuff.
Brilliantly worked goal for James from inside a crowded box. Trap has the highest expectations for him. If he keeps this up he should get a move in the summer to a top club.
Was tackled hard about 5 minutes ago and looked in a lot of pain. He's just come off....hope it's not serious but will raise doubts for Tuesday...
He was replaced by his twin.
I'd hope that was Martinez being cautious for James' sake.
this guy is gonna be proper world class(i.e not robbie keane 'world class' )
Even if he is injured, if he's not in the team on Tuesday TRAP OUT.
Garth Crooks just describe it as one of the best goals of the day on the BBC.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
second goal here, quality of stream rather poor though.
