I'll leave that open to interpretation
Folding my way into the big money!!!
Not too many places show Euro Qualifiers. Not like the World Cup. Have to go to a place with annoying British tourists. Honestly is that whole country over weight? My God. I always bring a moose tranquilizer in case the women get randy. And they ALL swing. You know that guy from Rush the drummer who wrote a book about his wife and daughter dying, Neil Pert? Terrific book. But when he goes to Mexico he encounters fat Brit tourists who ask if he wants their wives for the night (Without knowing who he is). When I read it I said, so they are all like that. Anyway, I'll be wearing A Duff Jersey to show my own ignorance, with vommit on it likely at some point.
No Somos muchos pero estamos locos.
I often think we don't have enough songs for our Irish players so with that in mind I came up with a song for James McCarthy last night to the tune of the Torres song.
See what ye think...
His Grandad dreamt he'd don the green.
Back then. Back Then.
So he asked him would he join our team.
Back then. Back Then.
He said that he would do his best.
When he wore the Irish Crest.
James McCarthy.
Irelands Golden Boy.

“I’d always play Pirlo but Trapatoni says his first concern is to avoid losing goals. The truth is that we didn’t know what we were doing out there" Gennaro Gattuso, June 2004.
I've also done up 2 designs on a banner...still have to see how i am going to print it but for what its worth here are the options. One is full colour and one is mainly on white.
If anyone wants to have a look they can download it from this link (the site won't let me upload it cos it says its too big :-(

Cheers but I think i need to change the 'Back Then' line to 'One Day'
Makes more sense.
See revised lyrics :-)

One Day. One Day.

One day. One Day.

Managed to put that James McCarthy song to sound. Not sure if it looks right written down but here's the gist of what it should sound like.
Apologies for the voice...I was never put to the front of the choir lets put it that way!!!

voice of an angel.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Fantastic photo from Friday's Irish Times. No wonder James is a "leetle bit shy"

For anyone watching downunder, the game will be shown at 6.40 am live on Sunday on ESPN 2. God bless Tommy Smyth, the old onion bag! The only ongoing coverage over here of the Euro Qualifers is of Ireland, probably a junket to keep Smyth happy. Love him or hate him, you can be guaranteed some GAA references, some mention of Irish fundraising in the US or his love of Man U as part of his commentary on the game
