I'm absolutely delighted to have the James McCarthy debate over and done with....the lad was never going to switch to Scotland. I watched James play for Hamilton Accies a few years back and thought he was one for the future, I think James McCarthy is going to be a real star of the EPL very soon.
I hope he moves to a decent mid-table club next year, he needs to play games...but he also needs to get away from that weirdo Martinez.
Any pics of him training im still don't believe it
delighted with that, i think hes gonna be the player to build our team around from the wc qualfiers for 2014 to qatar 2022..

Himself, Kelly and Keogh look about 12. I almost feel silly for pinning my hopes and dreams on them now.
Kilbane has the jersey on already signalling his intent to Clark.

Those capris the boys are wearing are lovely. I wonder if this could be the beginning of a long-term deal with Forever 21.
Trapatonni has just confirmed that McCarthy will definetely play on Saturday. Some journos are suggesting as a sub but having just listened to Trapatonni I believe McCarthy might well start the game.

From RTÉ:
Why do RTÉ feel the need to persist with this air of uncertainty in their reporting when it has been made abundantly clear from several quarters - including the man himself - that McCarthy is fully committed to Ireland.McCarthy, who is still eligible to declare for either the Republic of Ireland or Scotland, was believed to be undecided about his international future, but he trained with the Ireland squad this morning.
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez fuelled speculation about the midfielder's future earlier in the week when he claimed that McCarthy would not be rushed into make a decision.
Green is ahead of McCarthy in that picture from the training ground and he is the only one focussed on the task.
Green knows this game is serious.
Noely and predictions don't blend so well.
Green will start, absolute no brainer.
Noely, please don't predict a score for the match ---- anywhere!
