It seems, from what I've read and forgive me if I'm wrong, that you feel a player sent off is entitled to play the next game as long as the appeal is in ASAP and deemed "under appeal". This is definitely not the case and I feel maybe you should notify other club committee members of this or maybe your rep at the CSL meeting never clarified this to you and other club officials. If the suspension is more than 1 game, then a player and club are entitled to appeal. This could prove to be a very incompetent and costly mistake on behalf of your club structure!!

    I said"
"question is can you appeal before serving the "automatic" suspension??As I have no precedence I dont know,,,but I would imagine so"

    The Rule reads"
    (e) All of the foregoing punishments with the exception of the Automatic one match suspension may be appealed
through the various Divisional Associations and in accordance with the Rules of The Association and FIFA.

Which seems clear enough but what happens for instance in the case of an incorrrect player being sent off???
Thats slightly different to the rule being introduced and not knowing of its existence at all??

Well that should mean an automatic life long ban for the ref.

I fancy both Clare teams to win. We played NWR 2/3 years ago and they were very poor. Also Moher will have their gaelic football players back after they lost to Wolfe Tones last week so they should be strong enough although I know Shanagolden are decent.

Yea I would have expected the two Clare sides to advance but the PRO of the Desmond League gave the verdict to both Desmond League sides, Shangolden are new to the Premier will be physically strong but average and NCW Rovers got promoted to div 1 last year

I was just wondering how many games a player can play for the A and B team. Its been around 10 years since we had two teams.

It used to be that a B-team player could play 5 games for A-team.
An A-team player can't play for B-team......I'm not sure if this rule has changed
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later

Apparently you need to refresh the page once you are in it. Opening the web page will only bring you to the last time you viewed it.

Lightbulb who are fancied for divisions 1, 2 & 3

well lads outside of the premier who is fancied to win the other 3 divisions....

i would presume that bridge united should return at the fist time of askin with possibly corofin and kilmaley doin well as well...did shannon olympic and mountshannon lose many players....

in the second surely bridge united b have to be fancied after last season while i see avenue b have made an impressive start 11 goals in 2 games also think that inch crusaders can do well in that division as they have some nice footballers and are strong physically.....

in the third rhine rovers and bridge celtic b were unlucky not to be promoted in what was a very competitive league last season.....the 3 teams that dropped down will fancy their chances as well kilkishen newmarket b and ennistymon its hard to look past these 5 and it could well be tight again....
    I eats the beef......
