Looks very good, provides fixtures but its a bit of a waste if the League tables aren't updated. Also, whoever is in charge of it should try to get Match reports, Nearly every Club in the League has someone on this site that could give a match report to Clare League and they should put on the Leagues own site.
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later

ya the website is fairly decent alrite but for some strange reason in some places it updates a lot quicker than other places...eg when im at home the premier and youths tables and top scorers update an hour or so after each day of games but if i go on the site at work even a few days later it still wouldnt have updated and the top scorer tables are just blank.![]()

From a conversation I had last night , something struck me about the way football is in Clare. Loyalty and peoples perception of loyalty. Now before anyone jumps on that statement I am only expressing a view that I have at things as they are now. I was talking to a manager of a Clare league side who named his team to me that played during the week and this is my point the players that he named had and probably will never have any loyalty to the club that they are "representing". Is it a case where a club name can now be used by a bunch of lads that want a kick about without any interest in the club itself.
It is understandable that players will move from club to club but when a club is moved from club to club it makes me wonder.
Gone it seems are the days when a player would take pride in wearing the jersey of the first team in his club. Now it seems that any ** that says he will turn up on a Sunday can play for that club.
Any opinions

Of course a club should have loyalty to its players. What I am saying is that it seems that players loyalty to a club is not important to some clubs . Players that move on mass from one club to another and are only representative of the club in name only.
Club =a group of persons organized for a social, literary, athletic, political, or other purpose
History = the record of past events and times, esp. in connection with the human race.
Nomads = A member of a group of people who have no fixed home and move according to the seasons from place to place

I don't drink, and yes I am a little tired after debating the worlds wrongs all night. My musing began with the idea that if everyone stayed where they belonged and stopped these mass migrations into other peoples territories then we would have less ghettos which breeds contempt which leads to increasing violence which in turn leads to war and chaos will prevail.
Then again I might just wait until i hear the inevidable story about the player that turns up at the wrong ground for a match because he had forgotten which club he was being loyal this season and was looking at the wrong fixtures.![]()
Newtown made hard work in seeing off Kildysart, Jamie Cullen got a great goal to put them 2 up. From there they struggled and when the visitors scored Newtown panicked. They brought on Bunny Carr in the middle of the park?? Strange decision, he is very over weight and Kildysart went straight through the middle.
To be honest a better side would have punished Newtown.
