I'm heading out to Bishopstown for the City-v-Ballynanty game tomorrow. Should be a decent crowd at it I'd say.
    What should we be expecting?
Ballynanty to try to rough us up?

    Sville 3-4 AA
I know the soreline looks like it was a close game but in truth AA should of hammered Sville,2 late poxy goals by Sville put a bit of gloss on the scoreline
AA are a decent side and will be more than a match for any team in the league

    Star 1 v 7 Regional

Poor performance from Star, with Regional dominating the game from start to finish.

I guess you'll be training on tuesday so and fixing things for Summerville
instead of just watching, from behind the ditch.

I have to agree with gerry about saying AA are a pretty good team and well able to pass the ball and spread it all over the pitch but i thought we might have deserved something from the game..They got 3 goals from set pieces(something that we have to work on in training) and apart from that we did pretty well to cotain them...We had the majority of the ball i felt and really gave there back 4 a hard time....We were happy enough with our performance against a pretty good team who are now in joint 2nd place in the league..
2 very bad results for star today with tthem going down badly to regional and granville beating carew(got that prediction totally wrong)....I actually heard that granville should have won about
5-0....Anyone at the game.....I would also like to add a congrats to balla for getting so far in the senior cup going down 3-0 to cork...Heads up boys and roll on the FAI...

    4-0.

However, Ballinanty werent terrible and most of the players conducted themselves quite well. Most of them.

A few quite.......large lads playing with them. But they did try to get it down and play, but there was a serious gap in class, even with City playing there 2nd team. But I suppose it's hardly a level playing field when you've got full-time pro's against amateurs.

The boro look out of it now.
I reckon the league is a straight fight between balla and pike.

i wouldn,t write off the view just yet. if some of the ex-loi players stay and dont go back to lim 37 they will be very hard to beat.

    Relegation Battle

Doesn't look like carew will win a game for the reat of the season...Are they safe with 16points? It will go down to the wire in the relegation battle!

Yeah they could be in trouble alright but i'd say one more result and they would be safe but they have to get it yet...What was the safety points last year??

at the pike and boro game yesterday.boro are not a patch on the team that won the league.pike werent up to much imo either.there back 4 were strong as usual but aside from that they didnt impress.cant even remember boro creating a chance.terrible up front and on the wings and not a sub in site.they have not replaced the players that left last season with any quality.they will be goosed if they lose alan carroll and alan barry.they were missing 6 of last seasons staring 11 and it showed.the management have a big job on there hands to turn things around.tis between balla and pike for me anyway.
