Good Point about delegates not passing charge on clubs for jackmann
not looking for sympathy, just an example of ldmc robbing clubs
2 years ago my club entered a u/17 and youth team. full year fees were payed in advance for both teams . due to cricumstances beyond the clubs control, both teams were withdrawn without kicking a ball..had one fixture which ldmc cancelled before we withdrew teams. Ldmc would not refund the monies and demanded that all youth and u/17 forms that had been registerd had to be payed for.. When the agm came around we recieved only two votes(a& B teams). ldmc stated that we only had two teams even though they charged for four teams.. money grabbers..[/quote]
Absolutely a disgrace. You should have had votes for all registered teams. I know Balla had 5 votes even after their under 17's and minor teams were pulled out. If you ask me they make the rules up as they go along to suit themselves. Same as the new fee on Jackman Park. When was that passed at a delegate by clubs?

Yes it is a good point. Its about time clubs woke up and took notice about whats going on around them. We need to stick together on this.

Thats a disgrace.
parkville as an example have no pitch do ye think they should be allowed play all there home games in jackman for free?
Balla are not asking to play all their games for free at Jackman. The club only asked could they play their FAI Senior Cup game there because it has to be played in an enclosed pitch (FAI rules) and as Bateman Park is still not playable and the LIT can only guarantee fixtures on the Tuesday of every week, the club were trying to make arrangements for the forth coming game. The only time Balla played in Jackman last season was for the MJ Cup final and the Touhy Cup final, all of which were fixed by the MJC and the LDMC. Balla wants nothing for free from anyone but when the club ask for the use of Jackman they should be allowed to use it for free. Again it goes back to the question of who gave the LDMC the right to charge and when were the clubs notified about it.![]()
i assume ye all mean the fai junior cup and not senior
no Munster Senior Cup...........qualified by getting to last seasons MJC final as far as I know
Yes thats right. Runners up in the MJ Cup allow you to qualify for Senior FAI.
L37 dont pay to use Jackman Park but they are responsible for its maintenance and are paying for development, whether by FAI grants or their own funds or whatever, so L37 is contributing to Jackman park in a way thats arguably more beneficial than handing over a few hundred euros per game.
LTID
Who's paying the mortgage on Jackman Park??????
