Yea good point. Just makes you think that if these players that left Mungret had all stayed together then Mungret would surely be a strong premier team. Wishful thinking i suppose!

Players move around... it can be hard for dedicated clubmen to see it happening but thats footy..affects every club....

just imagine the teams geraldines/granville would have had in the last 20 years if all their players stayed with them???

Pa Maloney.. Irish cap my behind? If I remember Pa mullaly told him to get lost a few seasons back and he certainly hasn't got the skill level to reach junior int. levels..dream on.

Pike Rovers seem to be the one team in town that manages to keep a core of dedicated club players around.

And Jamie Enright moving to Pike makes sense, since the kid lives across the road from the club.

And from the looks of it,it won't be long before connie is moving on to bigger and better things from his impressive start to management already..

Pa Moloney was told to leave pike the season before last by Mick Noonan the then chairman because towards the end of the season he played a game illegally with Abbey Rovers. Pa Mul never told him to "get lost". Haven't seen much of Jamie Enright is he a good player?

Jamie Enright lives in Raheen and is originally from Pallaskenry. You must have the wrong guy GH.

Over the last what 10 years we've had players like Walsh, Enright,Declan Casey, morris, the McGarry's,hannrahan,Phelan and so on play for us and remain loyal.

I doubt Phelans 1 year out of the last 15-20 years playing for pike knocks his loyalty..Same with the rest...

And lads you've gotta get the players from somewhere if you don't have a strong schoolboy system up there..

No it is not a dig at Fairview... there are many clubs that kindly signed players from the dines & granville.... no offence meant.. just stating a fact
