Morris played left full for some of last season as well as far as I can remember.

Why don't the LDMC push for better sponsorship for the league.

LDMC cant even update their website, going through the motions up there for a long time.

to answer your question, first of all dave morris would be in my 11 every week and thats on his ability,i hear pike people knock dave year in year out but still you will see his name up around the top of the scoring charts at the end of every season.we know pike need a top class striker but in my opinion it would only be to compliment dave.as for playing someone with less ability than moloney i would play with ten if i could rather than see him in a pike jersey but you have made a very valid point and most of it i agree with

Hunger he has no doubt. And in the Premier League he can certainly still do a job. But in the FAI and Munster Junior I'd reckon ye need a bit more in the way of legs and pace. But he's not finished. Not yet.

Don't think conny would be still up for it to be totally honest...A bit passed it..

Luckily we have a break this weekend...Some very bad dismal results for us of late...D break will do us good hopefully to re-group.....Getting pretty tight at the bottom at the moment..

I also think fairview will beat balla this weekend..It will be close eitherway but in saying that i said we would beat fairview last week and look what happened..

Ye have a great set of lads there who play for each other. Good to see teams like ye in premier league. I am an admirer of Summervilles way of running their club. Would love to see ye do well. Just get portland flat and ye are up there with the rest.

Charlie does not run the club...He is only the club treasurer..There is a good committee there that runs the club and we are gradually getting things together up there..The pitch we are on at the moment will hopefully become the 2nd pitch in the next 2-3 years so then we will have a decent clubhouse and a decent pitch and hopefully an astro pitch as well...Thats why its crutial that we try to remain in the premier as long as we can so we can attract some good players as well..Our bunch of lads at present are a great bunch and are doing there best to keep the team in the top flight....Its not easy trying to gear up for games after u get a hammering from some of the better teams but thats the price to pay...But we will plug away till the end of the season and see how we get on...All we can do is our best....If we can beat the teams below us then we have a great chance....Thanks Mr.Reality for your kind words..Is there a touch of sarcasm there or do u mean it??

that's a great question why isn't there a top sponsor out there for the premier division in town,it's a joke some of the fella's running football in town don't care and are festering up there for decades.corruption isn't far away up there either take a look at the allocation of international tickets by that shower,,10 to 20 for most clubs over 100 for shelbourne who put on a package inc transport no doubt cutting a profit,i'm prety sure it's a shells man that is resonsible for the tickets in town i wonder who owns the bus company, tip of the iceberg

Agree with you totally fellas like Charlie gain nothing from the work they do its an absolutely thankless job but there would be no clubhouses and no decently run clubs in town without them, Summerville are very lucky in that respect very strong commitee up there as do many clubs in town who are constantly trying to improve on a shoestring budget,

get it right ,it,s lisnagry that get all the tickets, they can barely field 1 junior team but see the need for 100 international tickets.but from what i believe since the new ldmc went in last year and realised what was going on they have cut it back

for what its worth in my opinion and what i have seen there are 3 worst teams than ye this year and think ye should stay up with a bit to spare.unlike other teams in the bottom ye do,nt seem to have a problem getting players to turn up on a sunday so on that alone ye deserve to stay up.

No sarcasm. I would consider playing for ye myself. Lot of respect for ye. Genuine.

I agree. Summerville will stay up simply because of the bunch of lads they have and their will to play for each other. Pity the same philosophy isn't encouraged at the so called BIG GUNS...

Aisling were in a similar boat when they got promoted 4 seasons ago. Avoid relegation and build from there.
