In fairness , he did concede 4 against the Boro, but none were his fault, and it could have been 7/8 only for him.

He also made some nice saves last night, so credit where credit is due, he is a good keeper.

As for your last comment above, in all fairness any team in town would struggle if they lost 10-12 players from their squad in the off season, even the so called "big teams", so give the smart remarks a break and just wait and see the outcome at the end of the season, and we'll take it from there.

Its getting boring now, with all the anti Star remarks.

balla were blessed last night. boro hit the bar and crossbar and if it wasnt for the balla keeper they could have won by 4 or 5. the boro were very unlucky

Aisling & Boro can say goodbye to the league this year after last nights results.
Its now down to Balla, Pike & View to win it, with Regional having an outside chance.

to me fairview would have to be outright favourites.

They play Pike and balla at home, have a far bigger squad that anyone else and have the returned LOI players .... its theres to lose

Not Sure of the refs name...
boro have pike & regional left at home...If the lads play aswell as last evening they could easily take points off either team..they have balla, ashling corbally and carew away.

the lads might have a say at both ends of the table yet.

I'd agree with that. The midweek games will catch pike. Have a very small squad at the moment. Going to be interesting though. Balla are really getting lucky breaks at the moment.

Was at the game myself and while I thought the Boro back four were excellent as was Alan Barry I thought the antics of the Boro players was terrible, everytime they went in for the slightest challenge they went down injured trying to waste time. The referee it has to be said (Hourigan) had a nightmare of a game. Overall a draw was a fair result but looked like for a long time that the Boro would hold out. Balla were poor.

    Talk about reverse physcology.
Pike are 3pts clear of Fairview and would only need to draw away to Fairview and then win their remaining games, so for me its in Pikes & Balla's hands, but I still fancy Balla to sneak it.

Nothing new with some of the Boro players.

The boro players are watching too much TV, I reckon. Draw was def a fair result last night. Might be the point that wins us the league. Also, on Balla having a bit of luck this season, scoring in the dying minutes of games is never luck, its a sign of a good team with bottle.

Leather, lets be honest about it, some of them (not many) do tend to spend most of their time on their backsides (take notice of it in the next game if you dont believe me), I'm just giving my opinion from what Ive seen of them this season.

if ye knew what it was like to be in a winning position ye might do the same!! and isnt it better they stay down than react to the foul?
