kilmallock 3-3 geraldines...dines 3 up at half time, kilmallock came back strongly in second half...good game, best of luck to kilmallock next season
it would appear the management of caherdavin, by that i mean the committee etc. have let them down. they have very poor facilities and i reckon thats why players leave to go to other clubs. to be fair any of the players that have left there have gone a step up to a club in the premier division, most of them anyway
dunno are we safe yet...think we're guaranteed minimum a playoff, we're in a strong position now tho...probably the strongest from cappamore down in the last table posted...even the teams wit games in hand would prefer the points in the bag i'm sure....anybody got an up to date league table?
i see there is fixtures on this sunday morning that seems a little crazy to me considering the heinken cup is on saturday and i'd say some teams might struggle to field sides as the bottom teams are all involved this weekend could prove costly to those teams involved..

anymore thought on team of the season
gk-ger barron(Dines)
lf-frank hogan(balla)
rf-drmore(played there against us last time out)
ch-mungret lad who scored free kick against us
ch-judgey(balla)
rm-big guy for herbertstown(dunno his name good player though)
lm-colm O Mahony(balla)
cm-guy for kilmallock(terrier is nickname i think)
cm-bourke(dromore)
cf-mcnicholas(mungret)
cf-heffernan(kilmallock)
as ye can see i'm not big on names so lads from the various clubs may be able to help me out,
i haven't watched any other games from 1a during the season so my opinion is only based on games i've played myself,
i think its tough to pick a team of the best 11 in the division when you are only seeing players play 2 times and even then they could have shockers against you and play great in the rest of the games,
at least this gets the ball rolling
i think for goals is a tight call between ger barron and our keeper from kilmallock chacka o shea
i'm biased of course but ger barron is the best keeper in limerick let alone 1a...going on games i've played, keith mac nicholas, jimmy burke, thomas heffernan...anthony lee stood out for balla in both games against us, leo wong likewise...apart from that core opinions differ, i'm sure for most players in 1a the first 3 definately stand out
will ye b able to hold on to ger barron next season surely prem teams will come lookin for him
we're almost certainly without ger next year, i think he's going to ucd on a football scholarship...pretty sure he had a host of options for next year...he was at celtic too...some of the games recently he's been the reason we won...absolutely superb
ya a great keeper was he at celtic for long
