Looking at that league table I can't see a team as good as Grattan dropping enough points to let Kinsale or Park in. Unless Coachford cause an upset at the weekend.
As toepoke said Tues it should all be much clearer

Kinsale v Park United ........ Kinsale win................Tizz/Bog your 3 pts behind us an have 1 more game played lookin at playin the team just beneath ye (Park) who are 1 point behind ye with a game in hand.An to cap it off ye have to play each other twice before the Aoh an all 3 games in the space of 13 days.Talkin about havin **** luck.
Coachford v Grattan United .................Gratts away win,Coachford never ever roll over though so I dont expect it too be pretty...........
    Ballyphehane Celtic v Kanturk.........Ballypheane

    Tuesday 13th

    Premier League
Park United v Leeside,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Park...Leesdie are safe as well an with the MJC final on the followin Sunday they would be mad to risk any of there best players, token team from Leeside. Its the common sense approach.
Kinsale v Ballyphehane Celtic,,,,,,,,,,,Kinsale win, just an if ye dont beat Park it wont really matter anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Grudge match,Kinsale hav'nt beaten Bally this year, must be a payback oppertuinity for the Mossie an the draw away in the league.
    Grattan United A v Villa United............Grattan win

0-0 with Park. Couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo at the moment. Creating lots again but no end product. Park had a lot of new faces from what i recall. The final will be a slog so for the football purists out there i wouldnt hold my breath.

The amount of games is definately taking its toll on us at the moment. We have Ballyphehane tuesday nite, Grattan next week and then 6 days rest before the aoh cup final. Much needed rest too i think. Players will be playing for their cup final places so I can still see these games being competitive.

We know we havent beaten Bally in 90 mins or 110 for that matter. We do have an AOH cup final to look forward to however and a win on penalties in that would do just fine aswel!!

Disappointed with the draw on Saturday, Coachford in fairness defended with their usual doggedness. We threw everything at them in the 2nd half but couldn't find the net. Kinsale and Park drawing made the result a little less painful to bear but looking back at in now it should have been a huge step towards retaining the title. On the positive side it is still in our own hands to win, 2 home games next and they come much harder than villa and then Kinsale. As I said last week Sat it should be a bit clearer. bum clinching time for next week

From what i heard from some of the players,Park deserved a point from game. They had their own fair share of chances but didnt have their scoring boots on.They are short a few lads for the trip on Saturday but will still fancy their chances against Coachford.Park B's play Watergrasshill in the first leg Of County Cup semi final tonight.

That game is called off because of B's game in county cup.

    Unbelievable

Can't believe the AUL allowed ye call a Premier League game off for the semi final of a cup thats played over two leg's. There must be more to it than that. You hear anything rebel?

Ya there must be some other reason. We are missing our 2 leading goalscorers this evening so we would take a penalty shootout,ha.Its gonna be very warm out there tonight.A drop of rain wouldn't go a miss.

    Grattan go top

Grattan go top of the Premier League with a very hard fought win against local rivals Villa Utd. Grattan top the table with a 3 - 1 win, goals from Shinkwin,Danny Dunn & Goldsmith (all in the last 15 mins) secured the points to put Grattan top for the first time this season.

The other result last night also helped Grattan's cause as Ballyphehane beat Kinsale 1 nill away, this surely now knocks Kinsale out of the title race & only leaves Park with a chance of stopping Grattan.

    Updated Table

Wink Mystic's megs crystal ball did,nt see that one comin.

Been out of work for a few days so pardon me for my lateness in postin.Firstly regardin us an the Coachford game,we were good for the first 15 an then Coachford should have beatin us because after that were terrible. It was one of those games we would have had to win ugly if you understand me an some of our lads just wer'nt up for it on the day.A lucky point.

    Grattan 3 Villa 1.
Brusin Norrie derby to say the least. The first 45 we could'nt get 2 yards without bein blown up into the air.The ref even got frustrated with the amount of ego's that were tryin to kill each other. We came out the worst again an again with persistant fouls.I'v been lucky or unlucky to have played in some Norrie battles but this was a first half of physcial abuse I havent seen for a while. We lost Harry to a shockin head wound late in the first half an Goldsmith limped of after another late double tackle on him,yet no reds.If Tom Tully had bein doin this one Villa would have been down 1 or 2 men by half time.0/0 at the break, pardon my pun.

Half way through the 2nd sub BB played two 1,2's with Danny an crossed for Eric to finish of a truly stunning goal. The 2nd was a peno, great work again between Cans an Jp which resulted in Cans gettin taken down.Danny from the spot cool as you like.Villa pulled one back A brave finish by there striker in fairness because he was clung big time by Smithy.Could of been a red an a peno if the ball had not of trickled in.3rd goal came near the end, cross to the near post Goldsmith got a flick an rebounded in off the defender on the line.An ugly win, hard fought with 3 great goals.Thats how it needs to be done sometimes, the hard way.We bossed the game for the most part but the difference between the Coachford game an this one was that for the most part everyone was prepared to fight hard for each an every ball.WIt was'nt a game for the purist except for the quality of our 3 goals .We settled down an played ball in the 2nd half after takin our kickin an got what we deserved.Danny Dunne was a class apart on the night.

    Tizz,Bog ???????????????????????
