is it true Knock/Kiltimagh are playin Castlebar Celtic C in the last game of the league? if so it will be like a cup final for them both, any ideas when that game is?

aye, 11th November at K&Ks ground. Draw or win for K&K and they play Clew Bay, only a win for our lads will give them a playoff place.

Five weeks away? Some game. Both teams play good footie. I would say that CCC have a good chance. They are harder with good tacklers. Depends on who wants it most. Castlebar do need to improve their their wing defenders as KK have very fast pacy wingers. Despite what I have said previously I think I would prefer Castlebar to progress. They are a pretty good bunch who play skilful and hard football. KK may have problems dealing with their attack and up the middle KK are suspect.

i know the fixture book says Nov 11th for that game but i heard it might be brought forward

TS - not word of a move, there are a lot of cup games on during these 5 weeks, but it would be handy if it was!

According to SoccerBot Knock/Kiltimagh have been deducted 3 points for fielding an unregistered player so now its Celtic C who only need the draw in the final game.

One should wonder how did the League go about taking 3pts off a club,Did they trawl or was it the registrar's, were is it written in there rules how they investigate clubs, failing this, if appealed the league could lose.

If they fielded an illegal player they broke the rules. Period. How the league found out is irrelevant.

The Mayo League have a rule that covers all investigations no matter how long after the game was played. Once a club breaks a rule the Mayo League are entitled to investigate.

we brought on under 18 player 4 last 5mins against cross celtic when up 5-0 he wasn't registered properly with junior team, we found out his form was not sent 2 junior register so we told the league, we were told not 2 worry about it it was a mistake. received 130 euro fine and 3 points deduction few weeks ago we appealed it but no luck. pretty harsh not happy

They are very unforgiven lad unfortunately, the way it was anyway that ye were probably not going to play for a draw anyway.

Ye are not the first and will not be the last that this will happen to.

Sounds very harsh and frustrating, but could have been worse if he played more than one game!

Will ye win in k/k yop? Where did ye come from - ye looked out of it a few months ago, and now i see ye in second place! What happened? whats the team like?
