The Clare league have the right idea blanket calling off matches. I know you might say that's farcical also but at least it takes it out of the clubs hands.
I understand what your saying. But how is the away team meant to know if the pitch is unplayable or is it that the home team cant field a team.

I really find it hard to see how Coonagh can get a point out in Croom. It's a very tough place to get any kind of result. I remember a few seasons ago we went 3nil up out there and thought 'what's all the fuss about Croom.' Final score in that game??? 3-3.. They seem to just wear teams down out there. Has anyone taken points off them out there this season???

Yes they had a few half chances Prospect had the better of them though hitting the post at one stage which would have been a cracking goal. Great result for Prospect in the end especially missing 5 of their first team players which does'nt say much for Pike.Philip Coffey looked the only threat for them. Of course Prospect have a few players signed B forms but they are B team players that help out the A team when they can like every club. They wont need them for the cup..

Hold on bud, we had two close range efforts fly wide. Two one on ones that were fluffed aswell as forcing your keeper to make a few good saves. Apart from that one off the post, yer only other chances were the goals. I think you are being a bit harsh on us..

However to your credit you did put on pressure after the break. But I felt we were comfortable. We could of had two penalties also.

It meant an awful lot to us getting the win. After the Coonagh game some of the things being said were way over the top. It was an awful performance but as we all said it was coming. It was hopefully the kick up the arse we needed.
I agree Axe Man we were very poor at the back and especially the left wing but we live and learn....it was my first time traveling to Shannon and i would like to complement you on your facilities your attitude and the fairness in which the game was played under tough circumstances with heavy rain and wind ......... i wish you the best in the run in it should be a great finish to the season in 1B...... Is everybody forgetting that Knockainey and Prospect are also playing a cup game on Sunday .........we are left out of all the predictions and we feel left out.......

Fairview B drew out there and should have came away with three pts.One of their players handled the ball on the line and the ref didnt want to know about it when it was right in front of him.Their whole team were laughing and even the supporters.

With the way the fixtures are going at the moment with some teams having more games than others over the recent bad weather id say it could be extra time and penalties but im not a 100% on that.

Anyone out there have the answer to that??????

Murroe might be lucky to have their Goalkeeper and centre half back after last weeks game against Fairview...the keeper came off his line for the ball and both players jumped and collided heads which left the two of them heading for the hospital. Both were split open.
