    I respect that....
We hope to go up with Croom obviously, I think we are not far away from getting that win. Or last 5 fixtures have been Prospect away(beat 3-2), Holycross away(win2-0), Croom home(beat 2-1), Holycross home(draw1-1) and shelbourne away(beaten 3-1).

Crazy thing is that we have been leading against Prospect, Holycross and Shelbourne at half time (all one nil). Shelbourne won't get out of the division... Coonagh are physically very strong so I expect they will push us.

I've been with two clubs for moderate spells during promotion in Clare and this by far the hardest league to get out of.

Ya its tough no doubt. I can tell you that a good friend of mine is involved with Shels and they are ready to make an almighty push for the top. They can be very strong on their day as you know from that defeat ye had. Watch for them in coming weeks. But good luck with your effort, Park should be Premier and it is a pity what happened in the last few years.

Regarding Shels I just think they left it too late. They have some three good players that should and would be in a top 4 side in the Premier if they wanted. It's a very intimidating place to go all the same.

It's a pity but I know alot of people in Shannon who couldn't care less because of the previous of the club but the main men whose opinions count are trying to fix it.

Stay tuned because it's going to be a good ride

We had a bad start to the season, But we will give it all we got for the rest of the season to try and get promoted. It will be hard but we will not give up without a fight. Beating park sunday was a good result. We were pleased with the result, But we did not play as well as we can. We know that we can play far better than that. Traning hard at the moment so hopefuuly it will pay off.. We are playing STAR sunday in the lawson cup. ( should be a good game )..

In fairness they have some very good players, that wouldmore than hold their own in the Prem.
Gary Ryan, Smiggy, Damien Leo, Stephen Leo (all ex Balla "A" players in the last few years), along with Keith O'Donnell who is also another good player.

And who may I ask do you play for or support.??? when have you seen us play? The lads mentioned by abbeyvale are all good enough to play premier football.. I have no doubt in my mind that they would get any of the top 6 prem teams..

I saw Shels today against Star and was not a bit impressed....they seemed a bit over awed by a poor Star side...
I reckon that the second spot will be between Fairview and Coonagh....sneaking suspicion Coonagh will have enough firepower to get a run together and win..they play shels and Park at home and my sources said are training mad and ready to give it a huge go..

They have the ability but not the attitude. They wouldnt last a few weeks with a top premier club now, cos they arent bothered.

Maybe Keith O Donnell, but not the others.

A Star Rovers player was attacked after the game as he tried to get into his vehilce on the main road by Shelbournes left full (dont know his name),
As the Star player retaliated 2 more Shelbourne players jumped in.

I wouldn't say Shelbourne are complete thugs as I know some of the other players and they are nice guys, but definitely these 3 guys are and bring the name of the club through the gutter.

Thats scandalous. I'd agree that it's only a small few causing trouble. Against us 2 players sould have been sent off... One of the subs on the line had a fews words with of one of the lads during the game too which weren't very nice to say the least (I know! I know! get over it, but there is no need for it).

Sad to hear that going on but it's only two or three of them that carry on like that... Feel sorry for the rest of the players cause most of them are sound.

After their antics last Sunday I really hope that Shelbourne dont get promoted as they dont derserve to.
Some decent guys playing with them, but they have 2 or 3 so called players that really let the club down.

    Shel's

They have been at it for years and have been let off with it. Should be interesting to see how they get on the weekend out in Knockainey after last years incident. Dont think they will go up. They will win all their home games because it is intimidating up there for any team and also the ref which is wrong.

Two to go up will be Croom and Prospect. For all the talk about Park they are just not good enough to go up.

I know Abbey are down to play the weekend but the last game they were down for they gave a walk over. Please say they havent been pulled. Hope all teams give it their all cause it will make things interesting. This weekend will tell alot.

I'd agree with the ref being intimidated out there thats a fair enough arguement. But can you or I do about it... Reffing is intimidating at the best of times.

"For all the talk" how are we just not good enough. Prospect beat us 3-2 in their place and we could have won that game had two of our best players not been injured and losing a centre half at half time. Not to mention the 35 yard screamer from the touchline on the right hand side they scored....

We play Prospect at our place soon then you can make a fair assesment....

    Axe Man

Axe Man I will hold you to that. Prospect will beat ye they have the most improved squad since the start of the season and trainning hard.

Ye always have an excuse. Ye have at least 5 subs every game all teams are missing players every second game just get over it. With an attitude like that ye wont go far.
