You'll NEVER beat the Irish.......you'll just draw with us instead!!!
Yes POS, we really need a player or two to come through in that position.
Henderson,
Carr, O'Shea, Dunne, Kelly
Finnan, Kilbane. Reid, Hunt,
Doyle, Keane.
Good or bad...
I would like to have seen Potter start.
"Well I think they'll be a little disappointed with that" - Matt Holland on TV3 after 5-2 drubbing by Cyprus
please God do not put Finnan at RM just so we can accomodate Carr.

I think you are over-reacting slightly. The purpose of the US tour would seem to have been to see if he fringe players are capable of the step up to the international squad, and evaluating what players should be used as back up to the squad should there be an injury crisis or whatever.
This friendly should be and would seem tobe about fine-tuning the squad for the eastern games in Sept. In that respect O'Halloran should be nowhere near the squad on the basis that he hasn't featured at all for Villa since the start of the season, whereas, forgive me if I'm wrong here, the likes of Murphy, Stokes, Potter and Keogh are.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
Jaysus! I can't understand that team at all. I mean surely there is nothing new to be learnt from having the two rb's playing together on the right. What it says to me is that he doesn't trust anyone to play right midfield. Not elliot anyway.
Kelly at left back is definitely worth a shot, as he is playing there for the Brum's and could be in line to play in Sept, but the pairing of Killer and Reid is a disaster I think.
The positive is that he sees the Keane Doyle partnership as being #1, and isn't going to start messing around with Doyle on the right.

Does anyone have the revised squad available at all please?

20 Players Travelled
Republic of Ireland Squad:
Nick Colgan - Barnsley
Colin Doyle - Birmingham City
Wayne Henderson - Preston North End
Stephen Carr - Newcastle United
Richard Dunne - Manchester City
Steve Finnan - Liverpool
Stephen Kelly - Birmingham City
Darron Gibson - Manchester United
John O'Shea - Manchester United
Stephen Hunt - Reading
Kevin Kilbane - Wigan Athletic
Aiden McGeady - Celtic
Alan O'Brien - Hibernian
Darren Potter - Wolverhampton Wanderers
Andy Reid - Charlton Athletic
Kevin Doyle - Reading
Robbie Keane - Tottenham Hotspur
Andy Keogh - Wolverhampton Wanderers
Shane Long - Reading
Daryl Murphy - Sunderland
With the above team it would leave a bench of
Colgan
Doyle
McGeady
O'Brien
Potter
Gibson
Keogh
Long
Murphy
I don't think it's to accomodate Carr- I think Stan has picked that combination on the right to prepare for the upcoming qualifiers, so it looks like a cautious approach will be used.
Only change I'd like to see in that team would be McGeady in for Carr. Hopefully Potter will get a run out at some stage too.
right,
From that squad I'd have gone with this myyself.
Doyle
Finnan
O'shea
Dunne
Kelly
Kilbane
Reid
Potter
Keane
Murphy
Doyle.
