Heard from someone today in the Club that Brighton all went on **** up on Friday night in Sligo, the team was carrying 8 red and 3 yellow cards, and then with the stuff against Longford, the manager just had enough and cancelled our one as well

I'm not going to get into another "who was right who was wrong arguement" but maybe Athlone were as well not play Brighton. They were the ones who were hyped up. Adams the Brighton manager was possesed from the start. Although the game would have got a fine crowd. Brighton could have played your game and not have gone home with the reputation they now have.

Ah no but seriously, your probably right. If they are wound up and looking to dish out a few late tackles, let them do it against Sheffield Utd or someone. Cant risk getting and stupid injuries this close to the new season
