It's not fair on the shops. Yes they should be doing it but it's not in the law. patterson could be after you too![]()
if anybody is refused in requesting posters being put up just take it on the chin and make no comment. the majority of shops will take them on board. we do want to generate a positive image of sligo rovers so any refusals although unwelcome will be in the minority. in the end we will win out and these people who refuse will want to jump on the bandwagon later on in the season believe you me . dont forget we are in for a very exciting season. mark my words

Why not design a poster than can both advertise the kick off times and the match odds?
Sligo Rovers F.C. wouldn't be encouraging gambling would they?Seriously though, not a bad idea. Ladbrokes should put something together now that they've a sponsorship deal with us.

Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Walked through Tesco arcade this morning and all the posters we put up last night were taken down, so there's another place to boycott,( I kmow there are a few Rovers fans who work there , maybe they could sort it out for the next time)
Thought we might have had to have permission alright. I presume the one on Rovers lotto stand still there?
