900 in blue stand and something like 1450 in red stand iirc.
Can some one give me a break down of how many can be seated in the Showgies in total and what is the breakdown between the two stands?
The reason for my question is that if we are expecting a big crowd there seems to be disagreement afterwards about attendance and this would help accurate assess the numbers on saturday.

The new stands capacity is now about 1700-1800. It has 1550 seats plus a bench up the back of the stand which was put in as a temporary measure for the Derry cup game but is still there. The original idea was also to install seats there as well to bring it up to 1800. Will probably happen if we ever make Europe.
Think the Jinks avenue side holds about 900. So around 2600-2700 in total including the bench.
900 blue. 1650 red, before bench seating went in. Probably over 100 more with the bench.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.
Officialy before the benchs it was 1550 in the new stand and 850 in Jinks.
900 in Jinks stand according to Mary McGowan, can't remember what she said main stand was.

Bench was a great idea, much better to sit on than the seats.

The blue stand has 853 seats but I don't know how many of the you can actually sit in. Wasn't their more seats but into the top end of the main stand too taking away the last walkway?

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.
