Ooh, that's tough... I'm gonna vote for... damn it really is tough... I'm leaning towards the Fraggles but I can't rule any of them out immediately... Or maybe The Muppet Show... No I'm going with Fraggle Rock. Now. Before I change I mind.

Theme Music? Dance your cares away, worries for another day etc etc. A pop-punk band (Goldfinger I think) do a wicked cover of it.

Characters? Gobo, Wembley, Mowgli, Red and the gloomy green guy I can't remember the name of . SProcket was the dog, Ma, Pa and Junior were the gorgs, the doozers were the litle construction types. Not forgetting Uncle Max or the talking rubbish-heap. Storyline would take too long to get into with my lunch just 10 minutes away! Is that a good start though?

Very tough choice but I went for the Fraggles.

How anybody could put the Fraggles above the Muppets is beyond me. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I voted for the Muppets. I always hated the Smurfs and the fact that I can't remember if I ever even watched Fraggle Rock or not shows the impact that had on me.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I'm too old for all but the muppets.

    Kermie has the sexiest legs.

And who could forget his singing debut in The Muppet Movie

Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices.
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors
the voice might be one in the same.
I've herad it too many times to ignore it.
I'ts something that I'm suppose to be.
    Some day we'll find it
    the rainbow connection
    the lover's
    the dreamer's
    and me

    And John Melon Head...
    and Animal
    amd the two old farts

    Not forgetting:

'Life is like a movie, write your ending, we've done just what we set out to do."

Also Me First And The Gimme Gimmes do an amazing cover of 'The Rainbow Connection'!!!

It's just one band called Me First And The Gimme Gimmes (or just MFGG). They're a kinda punk rock supergroup featuring members of bands who are well known on the punk scene but pretty anonymous otherwise (NOFX, Goldfinger and a few others). All they do is covers, their first album was 70's songs, the second songs from musicals and their most recent offering 60's hits. If you're gonna try and find some of their stuff I'd recommend:

Leaving on a Jet Plane, Nobody Does it Better, Phantom of The Opera, The Rainbow Connection, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow and Wild World.

Tough choice between fraggles and the muppets, but the muppets shade it.

Plotlines, twists, guest characters, double entendres. classic. And thats not even mentioning Statler and Waldorf.

It do be on TG4, sometimes in Irish, sometimes in English.
