Aparantly he changed the game for Spurs when he came on at the weekend.
Just had a browse of the paper in the canteen at work so not quite sure if i've got the whole story...There's a young dude O'Hara at Spurs (debut Saturday, had an assist) apparently at the centre of a tug of war between us and England according to the back of the Star (Or Sun). What it said was that he's keen to play for us but the FAI failed to act on a tip to approach him when he was on loan at Millwall last year....
Anyone know anything about him...

But according to TeamTalk...... the Toon gaffer said: "I had Jonathan with me at Bolton Wanderers and I'm delighted that he's doing so well with Ipswich. But he's not someone I'm looking to bring here."
Steven Hunt linked with a january move to sunderland acording to the times, a couple of obscure websites and message boards.

According to his wikipedia entry - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_O'Hara - he's played for England at u-16, u-17, and u-18, so I don't think he's been too keen to play for us.
He wasn't on loan at Millwall last year, he was there this year, until the end of November - http://www.soccerbase.com/players_de...playerid=43198 - he was on loan at Chesterfield last season.
If I had to guess, it's a case of a paper not refusing ink.
Steven Reid made his first start in 16 months for Blackburn today...oddly enough it was at right back

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
O’Hara played a great ball to Malbranque for Spurs 2nd goal.
Always look on the bright side of life
That's right. He was arguably at fault for the same reason for the first goal too. In all I thought he did well enough. Not being in synch with the 2 CBs regarding holding the defensive line for through balls isn't a requirement of a midfielder though, so I'm not bothered. It's probably at least 2 years since he has played full back.
Hunt denies it though (Independent)
Steve Bruce interested in Jonathan Walters.
David Norris staying put (both The Sun).
Sorry worm!
Sunderland's Graham Kavanagh and David Connolly are targets for Norwich and Leicester. (Telegraph)
I'd say you're right.. The article said he had caps for England but he was looking to capitalise on his wicklow born grandparents or something. But the tabloid did say that the FAI failed to act on a tip of his desire to switch to us, which I would believe.... The Suns normally full of ****.... But even a broken clock is right twice a day!!!
Everton boss David Moyes is planning a £3m move for Reading midfield man Stephen Hunt in the January transfer window. (Daily Mirror)
Just saw Scannell's goal this morning. Not a bad finish:

I hope Hunt does move to Everton.......it would be a far better move than Sundlerland. Ideally he should stay at Reading although the wages there are small in comparison to what they may get elsewhere.
I'm still not convinced Keane knows what he is doing despite have alot of money to spend.
Also its cringeworthy that some Irish players are moving to Sunderland just the fact its KEane - O'Donovan would have see more game time at Fulham......
must be irish:

Another great performance from Sean St Ledger for Preston North End against Southampton.
The Preston fans are calling him the "new Mark Lawrenson" high praise indeed!
