Cause they booked over the net with the German rail company. The slovak or czechs dont do internet bookings but I was lucky enough that I live with a nice slovakian girl who got her Ma to buy the tickets for me and send them over.

Lucky *******, I think there were 2 trains leaving at 12:25, one that took 4 hours direct and one that took 4 and a half hours with one stop...I wouldn't worry, what can possibly happen in 30 minutes....'Hostel' cough, cough....
