    The number should be:

    00448718 80 80 66

Thats the one I booked on. I couldnt do it using a calling card though. If your calling from work, maybe they dont allow international calls

Yeah that crossed my mind alright but I regularly make international calls as part of work so it may be that they've barred that particular type of number...

Cheers for the help anyway! Will have to call from my mobile now...

They rang me back so thanks for the help. Paid €255 for 9 of us to go in steerage. Probably be allowed to bring our own stack of beers to sit on for the journey.

Aido - I got booked at lunchtime there for Sunday - 4 of us at the same price (which is the price Paulie quoted at the start 28stg roughly €40)

Dr Ogba seems to have gotten cheaper though?

Good service i agree - fella was saying he's had nothing but Irish booking that train recently - £7 in call credit gone though!

Yeah mine has worked out at about €30 each...maybe its a bit cheaper if you book for more? Or maybe we'll just be turfed out in the arse-end of nowhere!

a crew of seven of us on this train, but gonna book it as soon as I get to Bratislava. according to an emailed response I got from slovak rail, first class is €24 one way if you book at a cash desk. cant justify €15 per person if seven are travelling this way

I'm on the Sunday 12:25, anybody know how long the tickets take to deliver? I ordered them three days ago and they said they would be posted first class (and I'm in England so they've no excuse).

With the cheap beer in mind, this might be a stupid question but is anyone planning to get the first train on the Monday? I think its at about 8 in the monring or thereabouts. Thats the one i'm hoping to get and i'm just wondering if i'll have a chance of getting a seat.

There's a fast train that leaves about 6.30ish in the AM and it was the train used in the James Bond film, Casino Royale, apparently.
